A Message from your Safety & Security Committee

Dearest Family,
We realize many of you are eager to resume sanctuary worship services. We continue to monitor information and recommendations from The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and The Ohio Department of Health. The
increasing spread of the COVID-19 Delta Variant is cause for concern. According to the Ohio Department of Health, the daily number of COVID-19 cases in Ohio increased from approximately 200 in the beginning of July to approximately 2,000 by August. Unfortunately, vaccination rates in our area remain bleak. While 51% of age eligible Ohioans have begun the vaccination process, only 36% of age eligible African Americans in Cuyahoga County have begun the vaccination process. Currently there is no date set to resume sanctuary worship services.
We remain prayerful and careful. We will proceed with caution as the situation continues to evolve. We will keep you informed of any updates or changes. You are precious to us.
“Therefore if there is any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and mercy, fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.” (Philippians 2:1-4)
