Centered on race in the U.S. criminal justice system, the film is titled after the Thirteenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution which outlawed slavery (unless as punishment for a crime). The film argues that slavery is being effectively perpetuated through mass incarceration. (The film runs for 1hr. 40 mins. and is rated TV-MA.) Following the screening there will be a guided discussion including panelists and audience members. Light refreshments provided. FREE and open to the Antioch family and public.
